About Mamá y bebé

As a first time mum, I wanted to feel attractive again after what felt like a very long pregnancy. I wondered what I would wear in hospital and how I would feel. I also wanted to breastfeed my baby but I worried about milk supply and having trouble feeding. I was a bit self conscious about breastfeeding in public places and even in the presence of my friends and family. And so I designed myself a stylish nursing cover that was light weight and enabled me to breastfeed comfortably but discreetly and easily in the presence of others.

Following the birth of my baby girl, I was lucky enough to have plenty of milk. Managing my milk supply to prevent breast engorgement or even worse, mastitis became my biggest problem. After contacting breastfeeding support services to receive advice such as freezing a nappy and placing it on my chest or applying cabbage leaves, I thought there must be a better way. This led to the Mamá y bebé breastfeeding support bra.

Wearing maternity and breastfeeding pyjamas that allowed me to breastfeed and feel good was important to me. Even though I was a new mum, I still wanted to look my best and feel good, even in pyjamas. Unable to find anything suitable on the market, I decided to develop the
